I could not help but smile watching this! I also could not help but feel all warm and fuzzy, knowing the ACLU defends these evil bastards.
Those religious nut bags at the Westboro Baptist Church were not welcome at this funeral for a soldier who died in Iraq. They are pretty much running for their lives and trying to drive away as fast as possible. This crowd would have torn them limb from limb

The same reason it is not illegal for you to do what you do. The First Amendment. We cannot stop this sort of stuff with laws, we just have to make it socially unaccepted. Just like we have done to those who promoted slavery, sergregation, anti-womens rights, etc....
We don't need laws against it as long as we have a society that lets us teach right from wrong. Our hearts and God will do the rest just like it has with Phelps and all the other injustices.

Being against homosexuality is a good thing, because it is wicked and evil. However, disturbing a private funeral, should be seen as harassment and disturbing the peace. ("Gay" parades, should be seen as such as well.)
