I first heard about this last night. How evil and gruesome these people are! I can't even stand to look at their faces!
When I awoke this morning, I got to thinking about why the MSM didn't cover this. I wrote my take on it today at my blog.

I was originally puzzled as to why the Newsom and Christian murders weren't deemed newsworthy. Why was this terribly depraved double-murder ignored while the Duke rape case received such endless media coverage? Dare I say that when the murderous perpetrators are either homosexual or black, and the victims are children or white, it just doesn't fit as "newsworthy" in the minds of liberals who are the obviously dominating presence in the newsrooms across America ? What's more, in their loonie left daft opinion, there is no way that such horrible crimes like this one (and the ones listed at my blog) would merit being labeled as "hate crimes."
Why???
We seriously need to ask and answer that question!
Why are certain crimes worthy of being labeled "hate crimes" and others are not?

And what of the families of Channon and Christopher? What Hell are they going through? With what they know their loved ones went through? What justice for them? Who will wipe their tears? Who will weep with them? Who will hold them? Who can erase the images?
My heart broke when I first read about this. I put it on my news letter page and made my future son-in-law and both of my daughters read it.
All young people need to know the dangers in a world where people are taught that they are animals with uncontrollable behaviors.
May God remove from office, those who are hindering our nation from being what it was intended to be. May God stop the evil wicked teachings going on in public schools, which tell kids that they can do anything they have an urge to do.

You cannot believe in a literal intepretation of the Bible and ignore this verse by going on ripping fellow believers to shreds, anymore than I can "blame others" for the choices I've made. You need to be wise and discerning as well!
Just remember, Jesus himself said: "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matthew 12:34) In other words, the condition of our heart determines the content of our words.
I have tried being patient and understanding and looking to see where you are coming from. I have not always agreed with you, but I have tried to remain calm and rational. But like the verse said, there have been times my heart was in a condition of spewing sarcasm right back at you ignoring what the Bible says.
Perhaps you don't like when I say that you need to be careful with your words and perhaps you have no desire to strive to be more consistent by speaking words that encourage, build up, heal, etc., I would ask myself why that is. You are not holding yourself accountable for your words, instead you are resenting those of us who choose to hold you accountable.
Not everything I've said was in a "pregnant induced hormonal rant", Mark, or from a place of sarcasm, especially when I quote scripture.
It's up to you what you do with your words. You are in a public forum with Christians and non-Christians reading what you write. Don't take that lightly. You are dealing with people who don't know you.

Michele Malkin guest hosted on The O'Reilly Factor tonight and did a segment on this awful murder. I didn't get to see the entire thing, but when I came back in the room, that liberal idiot, Ellis Henican was claiming the "it was a local story" and didn't warrant national news coverage! He also kinda threw in the "race baiter" jab at Michele for mentioning that the perps were black and the victims white.
In my post on this issue, I added some additional disturbing information that 2 of the perps were members of a black, "hates whites" group. I didn't want to believe that this was racially motivated, but it appears that it was.
Sad, tragic and awful!
